The heat treatment process of 4130 steel plate is crucial to its performance.

Common heat treatment processes include:

Annealing: Heat the material to a certain temperature (generally 650℃~700℃), keep it for a period of time and then slowly cool it to improve plasticity and toughness.

Normalizing: Heat the material to an appropriate temperature (generally 860℃~900℃), keep it warm for a period of time and then cool it by air to improve hardness and strength.

Quenching: Heat the material to a critical temperature (generally 880℃), keep it for a period of time and then quickly cool it (usually water cooling or oil cooling) to form a martensitic structure and improve hardness and strength.

The tempering temperature is generally 540℃, water cooling or oil cooling.
