Surface coating technology

Physical vapor deposition (PVD): Under vacuum conditions, the coating material is deposited on the surface of 55NiCrMoV7 steel coil by physical methods to form a thin and hard coating.

Commonly used coating materials include TiN, TiAlN, etc., which can significantly improve the wear resistance and corrosion resistance of steel coils.

Chemical vapor deposition (CVD): A hard coating is deposited on the surface of the steel coil through chemical reaction.

CVD coating has higher hardness and better wear resistance, but the coating thickness is relatively thick, which may have a certain impact on the dimensional accuracy of the steel coil.

These surface strengthening technologies can be selected and combined according to actual application requirements to improve the surface performance of 55NiCrMoV7 steel coil and extend their service life, while complying with the concept of green manufacturing.
