Iso 100cr6 Steel Automobile Bearing Manufacturing Material - China

ISO 100Cr6 steel is a high-carbon chromium bearing steel commonly used in automotive bearing manufacturing.

- Chemical composition: Carbon content ranges from 0.93% to 1.05%, providing a foundation for exceptional hardness and load-bearing capacity.

Chromium content ranges from 1.35% to 1.65%, enhancing hardenability, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance, while also forming high-hardness carbides to enhance contact fatigue resistance.

Manganese content ranges from 0.20% to 0.45%, improving toughness and machinability.

Silicon content ranges from 0.15% to 0.35%, strengthening ferrite and assisting in deoxidation.

Sulfur and phosphorus contents are strictly limited to no more than 0.025%.

- Mechanical Properties: After oil quenching at 830°C to 860°C and low-temperature tempering at 150°C to 200°C, the steel achieves a Rockwell hardness of 61 to 64 HRC, an ultimate tensile strength of at least 2000 MPa, a yield strength of at least 677 MPa, an impact energy of at least 23 J, and excellent contact fatigue strength.

- Material Properties

- High Wear Resistance: The uniformly distributed fine chromium carbides in its microstructure form a wear barrier, effectively protecting ISO 100Cr6 steel from the wear caused by rolling and sliding friction during bearing operation.

- Excellent Dimensional Stability: Through low-temperature tempering, the retained austenite content of ISO 100Cr6 steel can be controlled to below 5%, effectively reducing dimensional deformation of bearings during use.
