Stainless Steel Pre-filter Operating Principle

Filtration Stage:

As tap water enters the inlet of the main shut-off valve, it passes through a stainless steel filtration screen.

Contaminants larger than the mesh aperture—such as sediment, insect eggs, and rust deposits—are effectively intercepted on the surface or within the pore structure of the pre-filter screen.

Purified water flows through the mesh and is delivered to downstream applications.

Flushing/Drainage Stage (Approx.

30 seconds):

For periodic maintenance (usually every 1-3 months, or depending on water pressure monitoring), the flushing valve can be opened.

The system switches to backwash mode, and the water flow direction is changed by the guide valve, flushing at high speed from the inside of the filter screen outwards, washing away impurities attached to the filter screen, and quickly discharging them through a separate drain port.
