Annuo designs and manufactures hot dip galvanizing furnaces for plants of all sizes — from general batch galvanizing lines to special furnaces for tubes, pipes, and steel structures.
Each furnace is engineered around the customer's actual zinc kettle dimensions, production capacity, and available fuel source, rather than built to a fixed template.
We have built more than 30 complete hot dip galvanizing plants for customers in China and abroad.
Recent furnace projects include a general galvanizing line in Chongqing engineered for a 6500×2000×3000mm zinc kettle, and a large steel-structure galvanizing line in Jiangsu Province engineered for a 13500×2200×3500mm kettle — see more in our project case studies.
Understanding the Galvanizing Furnace
The galvanizing furnace is the enclosure in which the zinc kettle is heated to maintain molten zinc at the correct working temperature throughout the galvanizing process.
A PLC-based temperature management system continuously monitors and regulates heat input to keep the kettle within its target range, preventing the local overheating that shortens kettle service life.
Heating intensity depends on the fuel source — natural gas, oil, or electricity — selected according to the customer's local fuel availability and cost.
A properly engineered furnace typically has a service life of around 20 years, while the zinc kettle itself (a separate component manufactured from low-carbon, low-silicon steel — see our Zinc Kettle page for material specifications) typically lasts 7–9 years before replacement.
Furnace Construction & Features
Three integrated systems: furnace body system, combustion system, and control system
Furnace body structure: welded section steel and steel plates using high-quality carbon steel, with strictly controlled welding deformation to ensure structural stiffness and strength
Internal lining: ceramic refractory fiber composite structure — 60mm ceramic refractory fiber layer plus a 300mm ceramic high-alumina refractory fiber folding block, keeping the outer wall temperature low and minimizing heat loss during operation
Combustion system: velocity burning nozzle with dedicated controller for even heat distribution around the kettle, preventing local overheating
Control system: PLC system with instruments, gauges, and a ratio pulse control system for precise, automated temperature management
Modular assembly: ceramic fiber modular construction allows accessible, no-stop inspection and maintenance of burners, ventilation, and regulating valves during production
Fuel flexibility: can be configured for natural gas, oil, or electric heating depending on plant requirements
