Inflatable rubber ball (fender) is a kind of ship accessory that buffers
and protects the ship upon berthing and now is widely used in ships,
ocean platform, offshore facilities, wharf and yacht etc.
The inflatable
rubber ball is more practicable than general rubber fender and
effectively economic and therefore becomes popular among the customers
Details of two types of fender
Type one-Sleeve type
The sleeve type inflatable rubber ball is externally covered with a layer of sleeve which is made from chain, wire rope or nylon rope net and used tires (or rubber sleeve).
The longitudinal breakage points of the chain, wire rope net or nylon rope net are connected to one or two meshes of the adjacent net sleeve through pulling chain or pull rope.
On the net sleeve is the used tire or rubber sleeve used to provide protection to the ball.
Type one- sleeve type inflatable rubber ball features as follows:
The chain surface is processed by heat treatment to effectively enhance the sea water corrosion resistance of the chains.
The use of nylon rope could facilitate the installation and carriage of balls.
The tires on the net sleeve could ensure sufficiently large space between fender and ship to protect the fender from being abraded and prolong its service life.
Type two-suspension type
The suspension type inflatable rubber ball is the ball without covering of net sleeve, which is equipped with hoisting and rotating devices set on both sides to facilitate the movement and meanwhile ensure the ball could rotate more freely during the operation to handle any impact from any angle.
