35SiMn Alloy Structural Steel
features and use scope :
It has good hardenability , cold deformation, medium plastic , bad weldability.
It used to making the small concussion parts of middle speed , middle burthen or high burthen .
Such as drive gear , mandrel, connecting rod, worm, engine shaft, flywheel, rotor and blade-disk for steam turbine, the important fastening piece below the temperature is 400°C .
Except low temperature (below -20°C ), impact toughness is a little worse .
It can instead of 40Cr to make tempering , some can instead of 40CrNi .
Chemical composition:
C : 0.32~0.40
Si: 1.10~1.40
Mn: 1.10~1.40
S : allow remains content≤0.35
P : allow remains content≤0.35
Cr: allow remains content≤0.30
Ni: allow remains content≤0.30
Cu: allow remains content≤0.30
