About M2 Forged Steel Block:

M2 forged steel block (equivalent to AISI M2, DIN 1.3343, JIS SKH51, GB W6Mo5Cr4V2) is forged on 3500-7000 ton hydraulic forging presses.

This heavy forging breaks up cast carbide segregation and produces a fine, uniform carbide structure that smaller rollers cannot achieve — the key to stable hardness, high toughness and long tool life after heat treatment to HRC 62-64 - Block Supply Range:

- Thickness: 20mm – 300mm

- Width / Length: up to 600mm × 1000mm, cut to your drawing

- Delivery condition: forged + fully annealed (HB255 max), or pre-hardened

- Surface: black forged, milled or ground; six-side milled blocks available

- Ultrasonic tested per SEP 1927 from 16mm thickness up Typical Applications:
