SKH51 ground round bar (equal to AISI M2, DIN 1.3343 and GB W6Mo5Cr4V2) removes that overhead — material arrives at final diameter with a clean surface, so your CNC cuts chips on day one instead of cleaning up a forged skin.

4 - Straight bars for long tools: better straightness means less deflection when fluting deep drills or long reamers.

Quality behind every bar: 7000-ton press forged, fully annealed to HB 255 max, ultrasonic tested above 50mm sections, heat-number traceable, mill certificate showing exact chemistry (C 0.80–0.90 / Cr 3.80–4.40 / Mo 4.50–5.50 / W 5.50–6.75 / V 1.75–2.20).

After quenching at 1200–1240°C and triple tempering at 550–580°C, tools reach HRC 63–65 with the wear resistance SKH51 is known for.
