The steel is typically supplied in bar form, and its surface quality must be inspected for defects such as cracks and folds.

2 - Billet Preparation: Cut the ISO 20Cr4 steel into billets of appropriate length according to the bolt specifications.

To improve the steel's machinability and microstructure uniformity, the billets can be annealed.

This is typically done by heating the billet to 630°C-680°C and holding it for 4-5 hours, then slowly cooling it to 550°C and cooling it to room temperature.

During hot forging, the billet is heated to an appropriate temperature, typically 900°C-1250°C, then placed in a mold and formed using forging equipment.

Cold heading involves cold drawing the blank to the desired diameter using a wire drawing machine.

4 - Threading: A common process involves rolling the bolt blank.

Two rolling wheels with thread profiles rotate relative to each other, applying pressure to the blank and plastically deforming the metal surface to form the threads.

This method offers high production efficiency, high-quality threads, and enhanced strength.
