AISI H13 (UNS T20813) is a 5 % chromium-molybdenum-vanad ium hot-work

tool steel supplied in the air-hardening condition.

It is the most widely

used hot-work grade in the world because of its combination of high

toughness, deep hardenability and resistance to thermal fatigue (heat

checking) under repeated heating and cooling cycles.

We stock H13 round bar in hot rolled, forged, peeled and precision

ground finishes, and cut every bar to the exact length you specify

before shipment.

No need to buy a full 6 m or 12 m bar and dispose of

the offcut.

SIZE RANGE AND TOLERANCE

Round bar, hot rolled : diameter 8 - 120 mm

Round bar, peeled / ground : diameter 20 - 200 mm

Round bar, hot forged : diameter 90 - 800 mm Length: 3000 - 12000 mm random, or cut to any fixed length.

Diameter tolerance Hot rolled black : -0 / +1 to +3 mm Peeled and ground : ISO h11, or +/-0.05 mm on request Hot forged, black : -0 / +5 mm Rough turned forged bar : -0 / +3 mm Length tolerance : +/- 2 to 5 mm (saw cut), tighter on request

Straightness : max 2 - 4 mm per 1000 mm We can also supply H13 flat bar, square bar, plate and forged block.

drawing.
