The following is the specific process flow of hot rolling of SCr420 steel: Rolling

- Rough rolling: The heated SCr420 steel billet first enters the rough rolling unit.

The main function of rough rolling is to roll the steel billet into an intermediate billet close to the finished product size and improve the internal structure of the steel.

Rough rolling usually adopts a reversible rolling method.

The cross-sectional size of the steel billet is gradually reduced through multiple rolling passes, and the reduction amount of each pass is relatively large.

The temperature of the intermediate billet after rough rolling is generally 1050-1150℃.

- Intermediate rolling and finishing rolling: The intermediate SCr420 steel billet after rough rolling enters the intermediate rolling and finishing rolling units.

Intermediate rolling further refines the grains and adjusts the dimensional accuracy of the intermediate billet.

Finishing rolling ensures the final dimensional accuracy and surface quality of the steel.

Intermediate rolling and finishing rolling usually adopt continuous rolling, with a faster rolling speed and a relatively small reduction amount per pass.

The temperature of steel after finishing rolling is generally 850-950℃.

The entire hot rolling process of SCr420 steel requires strict control of process parameters in each link to ensure that the quality of SCr420 steel hot-rolled products meets standards and customer requirements.
