Ultra Pure Bearing Steel Bs 535a99 Material Refining Process - China

To meet the international bearing industry's ultra-purified requirements for bearing steel, the company is committed to developing processes for BS 535A99 material.

The successfully developed refining process for BS 535A99 material is as follows: 100t DC electric furnace primary refining (EBT tapping) → 100t ladle furnace refining → 100t vacuum furnace degassing → 3.7t ingot casting.

During the DC electric furnace melting process, oxygen is supplied to the molten steel at a rate of 20-50m³/t, reducing the ω (Ti) content in the steel to below 0.0005%, or even to 0.0002%-0.0003%.

This creates favorable conditions for reducing the titanium content of the refined steel and reducing the use of low-titanium ferroalloys.
