Advantages of high-frequency induction heating surface quenching:

The skin effect of high-frequency current (frequency is usually 10-500kHz) is used to quickly heat the surface of the workpiece to the quenching temperature (the core temperature remains basically unchanged), and then quickly cool to achieve surface hardening.

Compared with overall quenching, it has the characteristics of fast heating speed (completed within tens of seconds), high production efficiency, small workpiece deformation, less surface oxidation and decarburization, and controllable hardening layer depth.

It is particularly suitable for small and medium-sized parts in mass production.
