Strict Production Of Sncm220 Hardened Steel In Delivery Condition - China

From a manufacturing process perspective, SNCM220 hardened steel can be delivered using various forming methods, including hot rolling, forging, and cold drawing.

Hot-rolled (forged) or annealed conditions are suitable for subsequent machining, while cold-drawn steel is annealed to ensure good machinability.

During processing, it is important to note that due to its high alloy content, SNCM220 hardened steel has a narrow hot working temperature range, typically controlled between 850-1150℃.

The final forging temperature should not be lower than 850℃ to avoid machining cracks.
