    EN 42CrMo4 heat treated steel heat treatment process innovation

    Differential heating technology: EN 42CrMo4 heat treated steel adopts a combined heating method of induction preheating (600℃) + resistance furnace austenitization (850℃), which effectively reduces the risk of deformation and cracking.

    Intelligent quenching system: PAG polymer quenching liquid is used with closed-loop control of stirring speed to control the hardness uniformity of 100mm thick sections within ±2HRC.

    Multi-stage tempering process: Three temperings are performed in the range of 520-600℃, and a -80℃×4h deep cold treatment is inserted after the first tempering to reduce the residual austenite content to less than 3%.

    Key manufacturing technologies

    Forging optimization: EN 42CrMo4 heat treated steel adopts radial forging process, forging ratio ≥5, core density reaches 99.9%

    Welding control: preheating 250℃ + interlayer temperature control, using Cr-Mo-V series welding wire (such as AWS A5.28 ER90S-B9)
